As a child in Alvin South Carolina, everyone knew that little Kevin Nelson was anointed and called to be a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. What was especially noteworthy was his faith in and gift of divine healing before he was even in his teens.
FOTS was birthed in Bishop Kevin Nelson’s spirit in 1988. After some years of apprenticeship at Believer’s Faith Church, and as a minister in the Assemblies of God Church, Pastor Nelsons home Bible study swelled to the breaking point and God’s direction was sought.

In the spring of 1993, in the living room of one of his still faithful members, FOTS was manifested from the spirit into the natural. The old Baptist Book Store on Calhoun Street in downtown Columbia South Carolina was the first Church location for a number of years. The government decided it needed another court building so the work sojourned to the Holiday Inn on Assembly Street.

We shared this location with a number of other fledgling ministries for a number of years, always believing God for the promise of a permanent location where we could worship Him unabated.

We give God praise for our location at 1100 Sunset Drive and with all manner of joy and thanksgiving, look forward to your worshipping with us as we celebrate the Lord our God in spirit and in truth.

10TH ANNUAL CHRISTMAS BANQUET

On December 21st we will be hosting our 10th Annual Christmas Banquet at the Print Building on Montecello Road in Eau Claire.

Tickets for children 12 and over and adults are $12.00. Children 4 to 11 are $8.00, and 3 and under get in free.

A wonderful time will be had by all. The affair is semi formal. Bring family and friends and bless the Lord with us!
