The vision of the church was given to Rev. Nelson in 1988. The first call is to do the will of God, to serve him, to worship him in spirit and in truth, and to bring glory to his name in the earth. The second is to lead a congregation of people that will manifest his glory. Romans 8:29-30: For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. The Lord birthed in my spirit The Fruit of the Spirit Christian Fellowship Church (Gal. 5:22-23).
The church is a full Gospel, Bible Teaching Church, for all people from every nation and walks of life. A place where people can come and worship God and fellowship one with another.
The purpose of the church is to train and develop mighty men and women of God to walk after the Spirit of God and to train them to demonstrate the fruits and characteristics of the Holy Spirit in their daily walk on the earth.
Our purpose for the community is to serve. The church being in partnership with the community in helping fulfill projects and community awareness that affects the family and world. We believe if we uphold biblical standards and values in the community, then others can see what a Christian should look like in the local community.
Our aim is to be in affiliation with all Christian Churches across the world, break down the barriers and traditions that keep us from worshiping God in Spirit and in truth, and to exemplify the love of God to all men.
The Fruit of the Spirit College of Higher Learning. This school will give men and women an opportunity to make a difference in our society and church. We will provide a program that will teach the fundamentals of biblical studies such as: history, missions, leadership, etc...
The Fruit of the Spirit Christian Academy (Grades K-9)- A school that provides a well versed Christian education for all children, so that they can be better equipped to face life challenges, and provide their families with a biblical foundation for their future.
The outreach ministries will be a variety of ministries in our church and the community that will go abroad in missions and other Christian settings to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to every creature on the earth (Matt. 18:18-20; 11:4-6).
A program that provides children of all ages to come after school and receive additional help that is needed for learning, such as math, reading, science, computer skills, etc.., and also to provide a Christian environment that provides bible teaching and good morals and values.
Spirit and Praise Studio. A dance studio that boys and girls can come to, and learn how to express themselves in dance and drama as worship unto the Lord.
Our ultimate goal is to teach and train God's people to be able to apply Galatians 5:22, 23 to their daily lives: But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
